What are Tapas?
Tapas play an integral part in the lifestyle of nearly all Spaniards. In all of Spain, one can find tapas bars dishing up small plates, highlighting local, flavorful products. Simply put, tapas are snacks or appetizers accompanied by a glass of wine or beer, normally enjoyed around lunchtime or in the early evening. Tapas bars are so ingrained in their culture that the Spanish have invented the word "tapear" which means "to go eat tapas." At Ondo's our weekly menu will be grouped in the following general categories: Pintxos, Raciones, Ensaladas, Bocados, Cazuelitas and Postres
